Rainshadow Home Services has been a trusted provider of top-quality caregiving services in the Sequim and Port Angeles area for more than 20 years. Sharon Waters, the original owner of Rainshadow Home Services, built a legacy of excellence, compassion, and integrity in caregiving.  The business was acquired by Steven & Callie Higgs at the end of 2023, both RNs with impressive backgrounds. Steven's expertise in emergency care and Callie's specialization in wound care make them the perfect fit for the business.

Steven, who also runs a travel nurse agency called North Coast Nomad, LLC, works alongside his nursing team, providing emergency care services on weekends at hospitals he contracts with. Then he dedicates his weekdays to providing nursing care to Rainshadow Home Services' patients.  Callie also provides nursing care for the patients of Rainshadow Home Services as well as homeschools their two children.  Despite their busy schedules, Steven still manages to find time to hang out with his family and catch a wave, surfing on the beautiful Washington beaches.  Though business activities keep Steven and Callie on their toes, time with their children is their top priority.  The kiddos love to spend their day sparring at their local Dojo, playing a game of soccer, or getting out in nature around the Olympic Peninsula.
